• What types of hay do you offer?

  We offer high-quality hay options including 1st cut, 2nd cut, and mulch hay.

• Do you offer delivery options?

  Yes, we offer delivery options for your convenience. Delivery fees vary depending on the distance and how much handling it requires in your barn (first floor versus second floor).

• What is the minimum hay quantity needed for delivery?

  50 bales is the minimum for hay delivery. We offer self-service pick-up from our farm stand if you need less than 50 bales of hay.

• Is your hay suitable for all animals?

  Yes, our hay is suitable for a wide range of animals including horses, cattle, goats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and more. We work with many local Connecticut horse farms.

• Can I come and inspect the hay before purchasing?

  Absolutely! We welcome customers to visit our farm stand and inspect the hay themselves. The farm stand is open from 8am-4pm and we accept cash and check in our drop box. Our farm stand is at 51 Purchase Brook Rd, Southbury, CT 06488.

• How is your hay priced?

  Please contact us for current pricing and bulk order quantities.

• What is the best way to store your hay?

  Proper storage is essential for maintaining hay quality. We recommend storing hay in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Baling twine should be cut to prevent mold growth.

• How can I place an order?

  Once you are a regular customer you can place your order through the request form on our website, by email, or by phone. For your first order, we invite you to visit our farm stand and buy a few bales to try. Our friendly staff will assist you with selecting the right hay for your needs and arranging pick-up times and delivery if necessary.
